Founded in 2008, Golfing for Cures is an organization created with the goal of raising funds to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Why Golfing for Cures?
In January 2007, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Large Diffused B Cell Lymphoma. After 36 rounds of chemo treatment, I am happy to announce that my mom is currently in remission, and has been for the last 16 years!
Ever since my mom has been in remission, I have been raising money annually for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) to help fund research that may someday lead to a cure for these forms of blood cancers. In addition to funding the research to develop new treatments for these forms of cancer, LLS also offers financial assistance to those struggling with these diseases.
I like to believe that benefits, like this tournament, are what have led to the development of the treatments that were used to help to bring Mom into remission.
